Is anyone able to look at completed auctions on Ebay? I'd like to know what that Lentz guitar went for. It went for $2280.00, 16 bids.

I was tempted, but the $$ I didn't spend on the Lentz is going to my SRZ, so no big loss ;D

If the guy would have tried to sell it on The Gear Page he would have gotten MUCH more. Somebody STOLE that guitar from him. Ebay is a weird place. Some stuff goes for way more than it should and some way less. He should have had a reserve. I pity the fool.

The traditional S and T shaped Lentz's sell for $4k+, the newer style are going for low $2k.

what a shame...they're worth more. But if I reap the benefits, you'll hear no arguments from me

That's an unfortunate reality with guitars that do not have certain names stamped on the headstock , you can lose the value bigtime . We know that but a lot of others out there would rather pay more for a Gibson or Fender just because that name is on the headstock .

Time will tell on the new style Lentzs. Of course I'm biased but I think his new designs are going to be classics on their own terms. They just look right to me.

P.S. on the Lentz, I saw a pratically mint HSL on the 'bay for $2000 BIN. It didn't make it to the second day. Dang!

o.k. .. better late than never - I have owned some p-90 and P-100 gibsons ... they were a real treat, but never seemed to stay with me too long. and I had one of the aforementioned Godin w/P-90s and it was good bang for buck ... sadly, it left too. someday when I have more dollars than sense I will probably try to find one of those gone-guitars

damn you blew my cover LL. ;D I've been watching that one for the past month and the price is sure good for a brand new Lentz. To be honest though not my favorite color. If you're looking for a DL90 I think that's the best deal you'll find.

I believe that is the going price for one with a dot board instead of the blocks. Also those are the standard plastic pickup covers not the ones he makes out of Corian. $35 for shipping is very low. Mine was $80 for second day and insured, California to KC. Good looking guitar!!!!!!!!!

Really? If that's the case then it's not quite a screamin' deal. I'm still reelin' from the barely used HSL that went for $2 grand!
