I've been using my Wreck now for 2 months and haven't quite figured out the right pedal combination...what is everyone else using? Settings?
Thanks!

Guitar → Cord → Wreck
That's it for me.

Guitar → Cord → Wreck That's it for me. I wish I could do only that but sometimes gigs call for a variety of sounds. On my board I'm running the following: eb volume jr, jerry cantrell wah, diamond comp., rc booster, wampler hotwired, empress phaser, carbon copy delay, aquapuss, and the ep booster.

I use guitar---tuner---Xotic RC Booster---Empress vintage modified delay/ sometimes(MXR carbon copy delay)-----to amp.....this lets me cover all the ground that I need...I'm not a big fan of pedals thru this amp...to me it sounds better just using the amps distortion....i use the rc booster to boost my distorted leads...works for me....cheers!

Landgraff Mo'd, Xotic RC Boost, Lizard Leg Effects Flying Dragon Boost, Landgraff Boost, Keeley Modded Boss Tremelo, EHX Deluxe Memory man, Strymon Lex, and Strymon Timeline. The Wreck works great with pedals.

Since acquiring the wreck my pedal board has gone thru a complete reworking. I removed the overdrive pedal I'd been using for the past 5 years and replaced it with a Timmy. I kept the Fulltone Fat Boost so I'd have a boost for solos. At minimal drive setting, the Timmy doesn't overdrive or color the tone like a typical OD pedal. It's more of a boost/enhancement of the Wrecks already driven tones, which is very cool and works great with this amp. But it can certainly do the normal overdrive thing if you want it to..just a knob tweak on the Timmy and you're there. The only other pedals I'm using with the Wreck, other than a tuner, are a digital chorus, a Janglebox, which I use mainly for my Ric 330-12, and a digital delay, applied very slightly for a reverb type effect. All usually used independently of each other.

I use a z verb now and then and a Compressor occasionally and a very tiny bit of delay..No OD needed IMO/ I can play Beatles to Brad - Chuck Berry to Keith Urban Stones - Clapton etc - It doesn't do Bonded By Blood that well, But in the same respect. I never heard of them before someone asked me if I could play a song of theirs

thanks for the responses everybody! i was beginning to lean the direction of taking the true "drive" pedal off my board and simply keep delay and boost-type pedals to push the amp more.

I'm not a big fan of any compressors thru the amp either....the Z wreck to me sounds best when you let amp do the work and volume knob on your guitar....IMO....cheers!

I find myself running my Aqua Puss mostly. Slap back sounds great with the wreck.

I've got a lot of pedals but I only keep max 5 at the time on my pedalboard, don't want to screw up the Wrecktone. Through the years pedals sneaked into my room and never leaved. And so I never sold one - all those nice colors and flavors The choice of what pedal should I use this week depends on my mood. It's interesting to see that the RC is on many boards. Think I try it today. Curious: the guys that use the RC - is it only for temporary boost or is it always on? Fact is (imo) that the best Wrecksound is the Guitar-Cord-Wreck arrangement. B.

@ my last post: i've ordered a MoenFX gec438 pedallooper. With luck it shows up at the end this week. It's a nice little pedal with 4 loops on it (only 3 at the time are programmable. But the Egocomp is always active so that one don't need to be in a loop). When it's on the board I'll take a pic of the pedals with looper and dump it here.
Life is so nice.
