Hey, that guitar is backwards or upside down, LOL. I don't have a Lester, but something like it. I really should post some picks of mine. 1 solid piece of mahogany and Gibson P-90's. If you like rock you gotta have that guitar. My next GAS attack will be a Mini. I love the Mazerati, but I can't turn it but 1/4 way up at home. I know that a LP style w/P-90's will just push a Mini into realms that my current setup can only simulate with my budda Phatman. Go for it Lefty!

I've been needing to splurge on a humbucker guit for many years now. But being at strat-man, I never saw the need or had the cash for the real deal. But every time I hear the Rev. Gibbons...man, I can hear the buckers calling. Let's see...tax refunds are coming..."OH Honey!!!"

I think the tokai looks pretty righteous. Though the tele is no slouch either.

Diggin' the Zebra Pups. Looks pretty cool, and probably doesn't have the price tag of a LP. Go for it, you can always explain it to the wife later...the key is to have so many guitars and amps in the house you just tell her you sold one to pay for it and she'll never know! (safety in numbers) ;D

Interesting thing about Tokai guitars...they are banned from being sold in the US. Gibson saw to that, you can only get them overseas or from our brothers up north in Canada. I guess Gibson was afraid of a little competition.

MIK Tokais are OK, but I think you might be dissappointed in the overall quality? I know I was. You really need the Lefty that is in the classified right now.....................................

I did some gigs backing up a guy from Paris and he was using a Tokai Les Paul. I didn't get a chance to play it, but it sounded great at all of the gigs.

The Elitist series are great! I bought my son a '61 SG Elitist...it's so nice I wanted to keep it for myself...of course I didn't, but hey, it's in the same house so I get to play it. I have also played the 335 version, I liked it better than the Gibson that was hanging on the wall right next to it.....they are very nice guitars, AND, most folks will find there is no need to change anything on it! Pups are made in the Gibby factory to Gibson specs...the only difference is the name of them...I say go for it!

I would say go for WCR pickups. I just replaced my McCarty's pickups with a Darkburst in the bridge & a Crossroads in the neck. Amazing pickups.
