Are the Remedy's Preamp Tubes suppose to be without Tube Sheilds>?? Or is my Remedy the only one without these? I was always told those little covers help with Microphonics and to keep in place in socket? Any truth? Mine have little rubber Orings around them. Is this something to worry about? Thanks, New Remedy Owner, Jamie

I like the o-rings better, because they don't rattle. The springs in the shields sometimes do.

Why do you need a cover or an o-ring? Not sure of the benefit of either.
I had the amp on full power and full volume yesterday, and I was hearing something that I thought was a microphonic tube, maybe it was those springs rattling? It sounded so good that I didn't care, but if I was recording I would care.

Why do you need a spring loaded tube cover on an amp where the tubes are upright?
An upside down amp (like a combo) where the tubes are hanging down like a bat, I can understand. But a head? I don't see the reasoning.
