Lefty...I emailed you....what's up??
Rick The tele is not a Lentz (I wish it was)...I had a local guy build it for me. I don't mind the Noiseless pups...I think they sound pretty good, but I play through a Z28 boosted with a Klon...so I think that makes a difference as well. I hate hum from pickups...so I went with these.

Very nice! Question: If it plays and sounds half as good as it looks, why would you wish it to be a Lentz? If a builder gets something right, then it's right...no?

I am thinking of replacing the bridge pup for a Seymour Duncan Lil 59. ...I want a hotter fuller sound...anyone try one of these?

As my friend Brian at Acme Guitar Works says....."If the wood is good, everything else is optional".

That's a looker for sure. The finish appears liquidy and the color is absolutely beautiful. I hauled my daughter into the local gear shop the other weekend. Normally she instructs me to not buy and trys to get me to leave, but when i picked up a new/vintage strat (Mexican) with and aged maple neck and blue body (just like your tele) she told me to buy it on the spot. Took everything i had to leave it in the store (like i needed the encouragement). I like your taste man. PS I want one.

Lefty, I wouldnt go the lil 59 route...unless of course you want a humbucker type sound from this guitar. There are plenty of tele pup options out there...these happen to be my favorites ... Amalfitano pickupsJerrys pups are a good mix...they are a hot wind without sounding too mid heavy like some other hot winds...if that makes any sense. Oh and BTW...dang fine looking axe!
