My Z Wreck travelled several thousand miles in it's original factory packing and arrived totally perfect. I have not bought from Humbucker but I have looked at their website many times and they certainly know how to ship an amp. Also I have sent email enquiries to them on several occasions about Dr Z Amplifiers. They have always responded REALLY quickly with polite very good advice and I would not hesitate to order a Wreck from them. There are many posts on this forum that praise Humbucker Music and you only have to contact them to know they are serious and professional about the gear they sell.

Unacceptable. IMHO a $3600 amp purchase demands that it arrives in the original shipping containers, with all the original components, and in perfect condition. Nothing less. The seller should pay for return shipping and either send you a new amp or refund your $$ so you can buy from someone else. And considering the ample packing and boxing done by Dr Z, UPS would have to be extremely negligent in handling it to damage it during shipping. Hopefully this experience hasn't burst your bubble on owning a Wreck. It's a killer amp.
If they end up giving you a refund call Humbucker.

Let us know what's happening. No way should you be out any money. Did they send out a call ticket? You have the upper hand anyway. I assume you put this on a credit card. Or Paypal. Either way you have a way to get a refund if the items were damaged. Again the damage is not your problem to resolve. The shipper needs to resolve that with UPS. I have a feeling that things are in the works to make your purchase a good one. We aren't alone reading these posts. Good luck -let us know

Thanks guys for your support. I was contacted by Brent at Z after my first negative post and we spoke for some time about this issue. I received my call tag this mourning to send the amp back. I will be shipping it back either today or tomorrow with great sadness.
I will definitely have another Wreck in the near future.
