^^^^ ya Rev, its why I wanted the amp in the first place. I wanted to be able to run to rehersal with just and amp and a guitar. Problem I had was around the house, when Patty and I would reherse for Praise Band I would have to play at very low volumes (aka clean) with the amp so I didn't blow her out of the room. The MV mod allows me to get some gain going AND keep the volume reasonable. Its very cool! Todd

Todd you may have discovered something with that fuzz tone. Doc may have to change the description of the Monza with the master volume from Billy in a box to Jimi in a box. ;D

I have the brakelite and use it at home. I am patiently waiting on those Monza's with the Master. I could use a nice little 1/10 combo to add to my arsenal. ;D

Wow! I'm so psyched to hear about the Monza MV mod. I've been out of the loop for awhile (so typical of me) and am probably the last Monza owner on the planet to find out. My little surf green combo monster will be going in for surgery as soon as funding permits. The only downside I can imagine is that all the coyotes that I ran out of the neighborhood might return with the reduction in volume. That's a chance I'm willing to take! Better warn my pets.
Thanks for the great video and info, Todd!

Todd (or anyone), I can hear what happens in the video when the master volume is set low and the volume knob is turned to ten -- gain city -- but can the typical Monza tone be tuned in with other volume/mater volume settings, or does the Monza just flat out become a different amp once the master volume knob is installed?
