A 2X10 Monza is on the way to me, so I'm thinking about adding an extension cab -- though I may not need to. Anyhow, I believe that the amp has a 4 and an 8 ohm speaker jack (not certain). Will Dr. Z's 2X10 extension cab work with this amp? If so, I assume that I can use it with the amp's own speakers (making the rig a 4X10). Would I plug the extension cab into the 4 ohm jack? I'm ohm-ignorant, as you can tell, so any help is appreciated.

I believe the Dr Z 2x10 cab is 8ohm. If you want to run an extension cab you would need a Y cable, one leg of the Y cable would plug into your Combo Cab Speaker jack and the other end would plug into the Extension Cab. You use a parallel wired Y cable and use your 4 ohm tap on the back of the amp. Todd

Todd, thanks for responding. So, in other words, I attach one end of the Y cable to the combo's 4-ohm out jack, attach another end of the cable to the extension cab, and then plug the combo speaker(s) jack into a female adapter on the third end of the Y cable, yes? Sounds right to me since if you have 2X8-ohm cabs they should run at 4 ohms.

Yes, that is correct, it is a Y cable, it would plug into the back of your amp and then split your signal between your combo cab speakers and your extenstion CAB speakers. Works great! Todd
