OK,
Thinking about getting the Gia today. Do not really need another amp, but want one. Simple, easy to use and toneful!
Will the Gia drive a 4 12 bottom? Will use it primarily to drive a 1 12 cab, but may occasionally take it out with the big boy Marshall cab to gig or be a back up amp.

I've used mine with a Mesa 2x12 with Black Shadows (although I now use a pair of ceramic Webers) and it sounded spectacular. It's a pretty squeaky amp up to the pain threshold (for ME, anyway), so a few well chosen ODs might be good to have around for it. 4 12s... Ought to be able to move some serious air with that...

Should give some nice tonalities with a 4 12 ... and you may just find it goes from being a 'back-up' to your 'full-timer' . So stop reading and go buy it ;D

I avoided getting a CG for quite awhile. I mistakenly thought it was just Dr Z's entry level amp and did not stack up with his other amps. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, boy was I an idiot. It is a great amp and stands on its own. It is one of my favorite amps ever!!! It will drive anything and will work with anything you want. The range of tones in this amp is very wide, it just depends on where you put the volume knob, and where you put the tone knob. Stop reading and go buy one :-)

It's one of his best amps, period. It's a players amp for sure, no BS to hide behind. Plug in and play.

OK, OK, OK!!!!! Allready!
I bought it tonight on ebay. I played my 50 watt Marshall 1969 Plexi for a few hours today and read some Harmony Central reviews. In the middle of this my sump pump broke and I got a plumber out here on Sunday at 6:00 to replace it. My wife came home from shopping while I was placing the bid with 14 seconds left and she told me not to tell her what the hell I am buying so I did not.
Guess I will place it in the entertainment center under the plasma and hope she does not notice it. It has red tolex.
I'll write a review when it arrives.

I'll write a review when it arrives. No you won't. You'll write a few days later when you finally put down your guitar. Congtats on the new amp.

Congrats on the Ghia. Yes, it's a very serious amp with a very cool serious tone.
It will drive a 4x12, watch the Dean Parks video on the DrZ website. Dean uses a Ghia head into a Marshall 4x12.
For really awesome tone, add a Xotic AC and it's killer.
