So far I've done about 5 gigs with the Wreck and I am totally satisfied. I've owed at least 9 amps in the past 4 years and this thing just kills them all.
What I like about the Wreck (and other Zs I have owned) is the way it cuts through in a live setting. I often read that people dont like the Z's because they are too brite and harsh. The thing is, that top end is what gets the amp to come through the mix when you have a drummer, bassist and guitar player blaring along with you.
I've got a Bruno UG30 and it's definatly a smoother more lush sounding amp, but it often gets lost in mix.
The Wreck seems to have the best of both worlds, lush and 3-D, with that Z sound that really cuts through.
As goood as it sounds, I looking forward to the speakers breaking in!

That's awesome. I was really impressed with the one I played last month but would love to try it in a band live situ. First need to get a new band. Then a zwreck.

I have used my Wreck 4 times now - one gig and three rehearsals and am VERY impressed with it. I decided to leave another amp at the rehearsal space, a Hughes and Kettner Dual Statesman 20 watt, and although it sounds fantastic, I just cant hear it in the mix. i hate to have to lug an amp out every time I rehearse but I guess that is the price I have to pay for good tone! I never really understood the concept of 3D sound that others have described until I got the Wreck, I can stand pretty much anywhere and hear the amp at rehearsal. Last night I had to stand in front of the H&K to hear it. It's not even useable to me now, so it's going up for sale. Maybe that $$$ will go towards a Crook Tele......... J5

Selling my Bruno as well. I'm also considering a Crook. I've got the Wreck, all my amp GAS is gone.

Oh man, I really didn't need to read this thread. How many times has that been quoted about ZWreck threads.
