I went today to play some Z's & plugged into a SRZ-65 and WOW. I'm a recovering cork sniffer and had a lot of boutique amps and thought the Z would fall short , well have I been missing out. I was super impressed with this amp, so much so I'm ordering it tomorrow. (drove 3 hrs to play it) (one way) The tones that were coming out of that amp are as good as it gets at any price. I guess I'll be hanging out here awhile, long while I hope. Pretty pumped about it.

Welcome. The SRZ is a great amp. I'm glad you liked what you heard and decided to order. You will have to give us a full report when it comes in. Are you ordering a cab to go with it?

Thanks guys. BK I didn't order a cab I have a 412 loaded with 25watt greenbacks that I've been using with my Marshall type amps and I'm hoping it will work ok. I demoed the SRZ 65 with a mesa boogie 412 loaded with black shadows, and I must say it sounded fantastic through it. I'm hoping it will sound even better through my greenback cab. At this point it's hard to imagine it sounding better. I hooked a Maxon 808 to goose it for more intense leads and holy mother of pearl that to me was a match made in heaven for what I like to hear. I actually liked it better than the 3-4000 dollar marshall type boutiques I've had. I've been going through amps like underwear for the past 10 years and have just learned that the Z is the best bang for the buck there is.

Congrats!!! I have stored my 4x12's away . My SRZ was used with a marshall greenback cab for along time. Its an amazing combo. For serious rock i favor EVM 12L's but i have been running a semi open 2x12 Z Cab and its just as huge using a celestion Gold and a G-12 65 and or a G12H30 heritage ;D amazing clean to mean tones. You wont be disapointed. Keep us posted.
