A couple of friends (Mike Kyle & Tony Gonzalez) were working out a tune in Mike's studio. Tony was using my old Rx Jr. This is just a video of the process, so I don't have a copy of the final song mix.

I really enjoyed watching that. Unfortunately, it gave me GAS for an Rx. Great post.

Sweet! Great vid and thanks for posting. Always interesting to see different studio processes. Love that Rx jr, sounds great.
Something just as an idea, and definitely not meant as a criticism, rather something to try if you feel so inclined. When you go to put a second guitar part on, try harmonizing with another part of a riff in the song. Maybe play the same groove as the bass just up a 3rd or a 6th. Or take the basis of of the guitar rhythm and harmonize that up a 3rd, or just accent parts up a 3rd. Maybe do a small a small section up a 5th. Again, really cool vid, just some thoughts to expand on. Cheers!

We were in TN to deliver an organ to the studio and we will probably never get back there. I just video taped the fun my buddy Tony was having learning about recording. He was pretty nervous. He'd be the guy to add a harmony part if he had the chance.

Here's another song they worked on that day. It closes with the final mix.
