How can I tell if my Vintage 30 in my 1-12 Ghia combo is made in England or China? I just bought the amp new one week ago. Thanks!

If it picks up Chinese radio it was made in China. If it picks up the BBC, it was made in the UK. Seriously, I don't know if there is a way to tell (via stamp) or not. But I think you may be hard pressed to tell any difference.

I read in an interview with the owner of Avatar, the speaker cab builder, that he's compared them are there is no real difference.

All the new Vintage 30's are made in china, so that's where yours came from. The heritage greenbacks, heritage g12h, neo century's and the blue/gold are made in England. They are all labeled Ipswich England, even if they are made in China.

I was just curious......I've never been a big fan of the V30 and this one will be coming out very quickly. I was just wondering how you could tell where they were made.
