Went to Ultrsound Studios in NYC to pick of my wreck earlier today. Great sounding amp.
Here is the interesting thing, I played two seperate heads through the same cabinet to compare and pick the one I liked the best. Each sounded different. They were both great, but one definately had a more open sound and the notes clearly had more of a "bloom" to them.
Looking forward to a gig this Saturday and trying it with the band.

I think it pretty much goes without saying that virtually every tube amp responds slightly differently, even if every other thing is tightly controlled to be identical. Tubes just vary.

Here's a pic back at home. It sounds very close to the UG30, but with more midrange. I ran it through the Bruno cab with two blue and it was very open and chimey. I think the Wreck cab needs to break in. I've said this before, but I'm done with amps.
