Turns out when I was leaving practice I had set my Ghia head on the ground. Well I thought I hit a dog so I was kinda worried. Got out and theres the amp on the ground. Look it over the tolex on the bottom was torn off and a tire mark on the side. Everything on the inside looked ok. Sooo I get home Plug it up and pray. What do ya know perfect. Stills sounds magical. How could u ask for more in an amp?

Hey Yinielin, the bass player I was doing a gig with in the 90's was driving home after one of our gigs at night and noticed heaps of sparks flying from behind his car. He figured he must have lost his bumper bar or exhaust so he pulls over, only to find his Steinberger Bass worn down half way to the bridge, with the strap stuck in his hatch. Seems he leaned it on the back of his car and must have forgotten to put it in but when he shut the hatch the handle of his soft bag caught and he proceeded to drag it behind him for about 15 miles through some of Melbourne's busiest arterials! ;D Still worked but it had a funky body that looked like he had taken to it with an industrial grinder!

You could lean on your experience and start your own new business. You can create 'relic' Z amps.
With that tire track on the amp, you can probably sell it on Ebay for $2 grand and replace it with two brand new Ghias.

My dad had a Peavey that the drummer backed his truck over.
Plugged it in, and damn! Still sounded like Meridian, Ms! LOL
(true story, by the way, for all of you who have ever made the jokes about throwing a Peavey off a building and it still works...) ;D

Yea. I'm sorry. I was starting to think like a businessman instead of a musician. I do the musician thing much better than the businessman thing.
I agree. That thing has now got some extra mojo going there!

Cheese and crackers! I usually double check to make sure all the gear is loaded in the car first. ;-)
You could probably send the amp off to the Doc and have it re-tolexed... or keep it with the tire tracks for sentimental value.

They're taking off on a US tour then in April they're going to Europe for 6 weeks, then back here for the Warped Tour. The band ROCKS!!! They sound like Thin Lizzy's and Motorheads delinquent kid.

Funny story. My singer did that with his 62 Blonde Tremolux - still works great.
