Having bad GAS.
Got a Bruno UG30, Remedy w/ 2x12 greenbacks and a Z28 with a 2x10 and 1x12 ext cab.
Loving the brad paisley live clips with the z wreck.
Gotta sell the Z28 and cabs to make it happen...
Do I really need this amp?

Where does the Z-28 fall in your playing?
UG30, Remedy, Z-Wreck sounds pretty sexy to me.

this amp sounds different with every player, really. its like the eddie van halen scenerio...you think you're gonna sound like eddy if you play thru his gear...and you end up sounding like "you"...The Z wreck is great..but I love my Maz 38 with effects equally...
cheers!

Yes...you should get a Z-Wreck. I'm picking one up myself later this year. However, I will try to talk you out of selling something to get the Z-Wreck Personally, I wouldn't sell anything to get the 'Wreck. I'd wait until I could have 'em all keith

Curious as to why firstly the Z28 is the one to go, and not Remedy, or Bruno: secondly, why the Z Wreck will be better than Z28 (or either of the other amps), in your opinion of course ;D
I'm not having a go at Z Wreck at all, as I've never played one and can see/hear they are stellar, but I'm genuinely wondering if this is "new amp on the scene" GAS, or "got to have THAT specific tone" GAS.
I gave into the former, thinking it was the latter, when the Monza came out. It lasted about 2 weeks, then got swapped out for a Z28 and I haven't looked back! I adore the Z28, and the Ghia.
Just really curious.... ;D

Just really curious.... ;D Hmmm, I was actually thinking in a similar vein I see the UG30 as bing the fodder that could be possibly 'sold' as the Z-Wreck would most likely 'sound' in that territitory. I see the Z-28 as a different beast and actually a good counter to the tone of the Z-Wreck. Now, if I had a UG30, would I sell it....................NO But I'd definitely keep the '28 At the end of the day, the Z-Wreck is just 'another amp' It's a great one and has it's own thing going on...but so do the rest of the Z's. H'mmm Brad's got a Remedy. Brad's got a couple UG30, and Brad has a couple Z-Wrecks, but Brad doesn't have a Z-28.
I don't know what that means, bu it still sounds sexy to me. I sure as hell wouldn't sell the UG30.

I'm leaning towards keeping it all and getting the wreck. Maybe selling a guitar I dont use....
I went almost 15 years with one amp and one guitar until the boutique thing came along......

If finances permit, keep the Z-28 and get a Wreck. They're very different, although the Z DNA is shared.
Think of it this way: I can only play one guitar at a time -- unless you're emulating Michael Angelo Batio -- but I can play more than one amp at a time ;D

I'd be lost for words if you didn't like the z wreck, its impossible not to like it. It is hands down the best amp I've ever owned and played thru...I'm amazed with the tone on all my guitars...you'll never regret buying one thats for sure.
cheers!

Purely on tone, that is. Can't beat the '28 1x10 for convenience.

^^^ Lee, I thought you were all in on the Z-28 I believe I qualified my comment as being solely based on tone: the '28 1x10 is a lot easier to haul.
