Ya know what grips me about effects, and OD's in particular, is that I have to yank stuff on and off my board depending on whether I'm playing a SC (Strat or Tele) or a LP (humbucker). There's only so much room on a pedalboard and to keep OD's on there that work with each guitar is frustrating.
The Lovepedal stuff is GREAT with single coils... they fatten up a Strat like no tomorrow. But with my Heritage or LP, they flat out SUCK big time. Thin it right out.
What OD's do you guys have that you think work equally well with single coils and buckers ? Or do you make room for both type OD pedals on your board ?....assuming you play both Strats / Tele's and Les Paul types in the same gig.

Barber DDSS and Fulltone OCD both work great with my Maz Jr N/R.

I think I agree....the Barber and Fulltone stuff seem to work equally well with buckers or single coils with my MAZ 18 Jr.
I have a recent love / hate affair with lovepedal stuff, and from what I can tell so far, they are definately single coil type pedals ...... anyone else concur or disagree ?

+1 for the OCD especially with the 18 volt power supply. It made a big difference in clearity and punch for me. The BB pre amp works well w/ both as well!

I use 3... my amp is a Delta 88 with the Z 2 by 12 cabby
RC Booster: extremely transparent, can even get some extra gain.. amazing with both single coils and humbuckers
Klon Centaur: more transparent than the RC booster but with the option of adding gain... it has a little more treble than the RC.. amazing with both single coils and humbuckers.
Divided by 13 Joyride: Nobody uses this pedal, I tried it and found it had a very organic amp overdrive.... very close to the RC/Klon but with a little more color... I use it with the klon or rc for solos... but it does the clean boost extremely well... very well built pedal... it's just that people know divided by 13 for their amps and dont pay too much attention to their pedals, but this is excellent!

EHX Blackfinger Compressor has a boost built in, that's generally all I use for either guitar. The route66 goes over the edge with the slightest push so I find I don't need much boost to get where I want. Bonus that it's a compressor too.

I just set my OD du jour for hums, then set a Zvex SHO as a clean boost that I kick in for single coils...
