I've been experimenting with the xotic RC and BB pedals.... it seems that the RC in front of the BB may be the way to go.... although they work ok the other way.... My amp has no effects loop, so my effects order is; guitar, tuner, chorus, RC, BB, Delay and then the amp. I may try the chorus after the boost pedals and see what that does. ...... anyone have good results with a different order ?

Try taking the tuner out of the signal path, they rob a lot of tone. Guitar-RC-BB-then either Chorus or Delay, just depends on your tastes with the Chorus and Delay.

I go guitar>cable>Ghia. No other order works for me.

I wonder if I could hook the tuner up to an AB box and just punch in real quick in between songs if needed, and bypass it otherwise? My guitar usually stays in tune pretty well and I have a good ear if a string goes out, but still it's nice to have a tuner ready to go.

I have a Fender PT10 that occupies the B channel of a Loooper mini A/B and just switch over between tunes to tweak my tuning whenever necessary.

I have a peterson VS2 and a true bypass AB box. I also like the fact that I can put the tuner somewhere else, up at eye level. I'm like oldster, with the ghia I just use the AB box to "splice" the tuner in and no other effects, with the Z 28 I sometimes use a board: Sunface fuzz> Fulldrive> Mosferatu>Tremster>Holy Grail after the tuner. That seems to work pretty well.

Live, I normally mine run something like:
Wah(s) * Pitch/Harmony (OC-2, Octafuzz) * Comp * Phaser * Clean Boost * OD1 * OD2 * OD3 * Chorus/Univibe/Trem (order to taste) * Volume (with tuner out...Tuner) * Delay
For studio: Comp * Clean Boost Various 'things' will come in/out as needed but usually try for amp tones only and let the engineer add verb/delay/chorus/etc during production.

I've always put the tuner first (Strobostomp), unless I'm using a wah. Then it's wah>tuner>gain devices (OD/Dist./Fuzz/Treble booster)>chorus. Once I get a delay and a phaser or vibe I'll tag the delay on the end and probably put the phaser/vibe before OD.

I also have the strobostomp, which has a "true bypass" mode (which I use).
So I run Recto Pre->Clyde Wah->Strobostomp-> FD2 Mosfet-> TS9-> Line6 DL4
I'd like to get a compressor, a chorus, and maybe a cool toy like a POG or HOG, and I'd be happy.
