Just installed yesterday and all I can say is wow. I didnt notice much loss in volume from the g12h/g12m I had in there before. Which was one thing I was worried about. What I did notice was how smooth everything became. It makes me not want to use pedals thats how sweet the amp sounded.

so there was a small drop in volume with the Webers vs. the Celestions?
I'm assuming that there is a lot more compression with the Webers as well. am I correct?

Yep, WOW is right on the money... I put and still have two 30 watt alnico blue dogs light dope in my Z-best.... thought it would maybe knock the volume down a bit and warm/ smooth it up some... It is super smooth with bite that doesn't take your head off and great low end but it is loud as all get out! Sounds amazing with the Stingray and Maz 38 is just as sweet... volume wise the Ghia or Maz 18 is a perfect match but even then to really crank with the Z-best w/ Bluedogs it's pretty loud ... the ray and Maz are just SOOOO loud, but still sound great. the Z-best is just a mother of all 2x12 cabs... it can be a beast.

Not too much volume if any from what I can tell. I mean Im going by memory so it might not be accurate. It smoothed things out and made the highs not as annoying for lack of a better word. Yeah it is a little more compressed then the celest but in a good way all around I think.
