Thought I'd post this again for the folks that missed it the first time.....
One nite my acoustic players amp wouldn't work...California Blonde....the only backup was my CG. Fiddled with it a little...ended up with volume at 9 AM and tone at 3PM.....worked great. We've since compared it with numerous quality acoustic amps....with the CG playing through several different speaker combos.....works REAL well.
It is now our "go to" acoustic amp. Thanks again, Doc!! Quite a bonus!
Try it....you'll like it!

I play my acoustic thru the Ghia and it sounds good. Must be clean straight forward design and wiring. Does not seem to color the tone like my Fender does.

I've run my National Tricone w/ Lace PU thru the CG...great tone and holds alot of the 'cone' magic intact!
A-mazing amp!

One night at a solo gig, I had left the PA head at home - like a dummy.
I ended up playing my acoustic and running my microphone through the CG (I use the TC Electronics Vocal Harmonizer that follows chord changes).
Sounded awesome.

I've had to plug acoustic players into my Ghia on more than one occasion. It works well, as long as you can keep the feedback under control.
I'd not used my Ghia in a while until last Monday night at open mic. I brought it because it worked well with a lap steel I've been trying to learn how to play. Turns out I never plugged the lap steel in all night. Just an acoustic and my Strat.

old thread, but I just discovered this myself tonight. Taylor 714ce straight into the ghia (2X10), volume about 9 oclock and tone about 2. Very very good.
