I said I was not going to get one . I might take the plunge. Just sold off my Stangray and got a Bruno U30. Does anyone, (besides Brad Paisley) use the Wreck for country and lower gain stuff. damn, I should be either practicing or working on my house, not GASing for amps!

damn!!!! What happened? Your Ray for a UG30? I was eyeing one for a long time. Is it a reverb or not?
Gonna do the clean/dirty two amp rig now?

I love the Ray but the UG30 is something else. Between that and the Wreck I may be done with for a while. I wish I could get the Wreck in a head only deal.

Does anyone, (besides Brad Paisley) use the Wreck for country and lower gain stuff. / It's a great amp for clean and lower gain sounds. How hot your guitar's output is will determine how much volume you can dial in and keep it clean. With an EC Strat, with its volume around 7 +/-, V at 10 o'clock or so (and tone knobs below noon) on the ZW is pristine clean. From 11 to 1 it's in the zone where you can keep it clean or get some dirt using the guitar volume. At 2 and up, you start pushing some rawk sounds, but again you can clean up a fair bit by pulling back the guitar volume. The amp is quite loud, so even at the clean volume settings there is significant output level. I can't use it without a Brake Lite at home.

The cleans are the main reason I got this amp and I'm 100% satisfied. For now, I use it for a clean platform and use my pedals for different shades of dirt, modulation, delay, etc.
