Got a Jauernig Luxury Drive Model T the other day and I think I'm in love! Not using it to overdrive my clean rig (though we'll see how it works with the Maz 38 with a little hair on it via the master volume), but it really kind of wakes up the cleans in my Carmen Ghia. very impressive. Didn't like the FETBoy much, but this is a little different. Very nice Tim!

I've been using a Luxury Drive for a little over a year. Shortly after I first got it, I posted about it adding some extra sparkle to my Tele & Ghia combination. It sounded great before, but with the Luxury Drive, it sounded REALLY great. It sounds so good, I leave mine on most of the time.

I've had mine for about a month; the model T too. A lot of pedals will go before this one does. I find it so open; love it for a slight crunch rhythm (or lead) and love it after OD pedals. Very useful and doesn't take up much space.

Tim says Warren Haynes has one of the Luxury Drives on his board too. The sparkle is definitely there... Gives that little extra country grind to my Comanches in their tele settings. It nails that hard to get "Sweet Home Alabama" tone: not too clean, not too gritty, just popping out at you with a little meat hangin' off it...

I was at a church rehearsal Tuesday night playing my PRS hollowbody through a Trace Elliott Velocette that I leave at the church. We have to keep the volume pretty low, so the amp is pretty clean. I wanted a slight overdrive sound that was responsive to pick attack, and my Fulldrive II was too distorted. I was really impressed with the tone of a slight boost from the Luxury Drive. It broke up just a little when I dug in. The pickups are Wagner Darkburst, which are slightly overwound PAF style, which I think helped, but they really changed the response of the Luxury Drive compared to my Telecaster. The LD boosted the humbuckers a lot more than the single coils. I really want to try the Hollowbody through the Luxury Drive into my Carmen Ghia when I get a chance.

PS: I also have a Comanche, and think its a great guitar too.

PS: I also have a Comanche, and think its a great guitar too. G&L Comanches are the best kept secret in the guitar world right now. Affordable, great build quality, almost any guitar tone you could ask for with a little knob twisting. I'm jonesing a little for another PRS (I owned a couple for years), but a third Comanche might really be the solution...

...the Luxury Drive is my favorite pedal and the one i use more than any other....sounds great with all amps. speakers guitars and other effects ive paired it with...i keep that one knob somewhere between 9 and noon...i find that an amp set right at the edge of clean/overdrive with the LD kicked in gives me the perfect range to work with using the volume and tone controls an my guitar....

I haven't had a chance to use the LD yet with the 38, which I usually run with a little hair on. Looking forward to hearing the Drive with it this upcoming weekend in a little bigger than usual room...

I now have his Gristle King pedal ( which is the Luxury and his DGTM/ his take on the tube screamer in one pedal)... it's on my board and the only problem I have is getting another one as a back-up cause it's NEVER coming off... I use the Luxury Drive the most so far but the DGTM is a nice articulate OD pedal for a little LESS gain sound to go with my Landgraff... AND the LUXURY DRIVE boost ( one knob) run WITH Landgraff's Boost ( one knob) is awesome... I LOVE running a second boost for a little more at time and these two really sound great together... bet a RC booster with a Luxury would be sweet too.... hmmmm ;D GAS! New T jauernig fan here.... AND I SEE WHY BW likes the LUXURY DRIVE with his MAZ SR.... WOW... TJ you GOTTA try that LD with your Maz 38 asap... it will put a big on your face.

Last time I swear... I have the only existing double DGTM that Tim has ever built, side by side, one with much lower gain, the other a more standard model. Both tweaked with an extra bass mini toggle in addition to the voicing toggle. I also got Greg Koch to sign it at a recent clinic. Tim also uses Zs, so his pedals may be the most accurately voiced for use with Zs out there. I love this guy.
