I just received a Lenahan Clean Boost pedal that sounds okay as a boost... Except that when you turn it on or off it pops loudly (not a problem if you like to set a boost and leave it on), and it creates a loud and unacceptable scratching from the volume pots of my guitars. With any other boost the volume pots on the guitars are dead quiet, so it's not the instruments.
Lenahan has NO visible Web presence... Anyone know how to reach this guy or how to communicate with him for repairs?

Better off on Ebay. The best one knob boost if the Bad Bob.

I'd like to sell it, or use it myself, but the pedal has obvious issues. Caveat emptor, though, I know. I'm using Barge Concepts Db-1s and -2s for boosts (at $99.00 shipped this is a killing deal for a two channel cascadable boost WITH an effects loop), but I thought I'd give the Lenahan a shot. But I can't in good conscience pass it on until I have these problems addressed. And addressing those problems just means that this will wind up a good looking pig in a poke. It's not heavy enough for a door stop, but it sure LOOKS good...

Here's his Ebay handle-triplesixxtronics
From what I've read the switching pop is normal. As for the scratchyness...I dunno.

I knew about the pop. Karma for the detective work and ebay handle! Hopefully it's something simple in the circuit that I can fix or get to someone who can to repair....
