Paul,
How do you like the AC Booster? Better w/ the Ghia than the Maz 38?
I want to get me one of those EBS reverb's, They sound awesome!

Does the EBS reverb have a spring setting? What are the knobs on it?

Hey Matt, beleive it or not I haven't hooked anything up here at home. Call me a slacker. Hey Billy, Yes, the EBS has Plate, Spring and Hall. It's killer!!! Here is a link to the settings and samples: www.ebs.bass.se/koll/dynaverb.htm

Ok, so the only two pedals you'll ever need for any Dr. Z amp is: 1. Xotic AC Boost 2. EBS Reverb
Everything else on the board is just fodder taking up space. I just can't get over these two pedals!!! There is absolutely nothing else you need. They sound awesome with both my Sr and Ghia. Holy Cow!

How does the reverb work thru the Maz 38 loop, if yours has one? Any volume cut?

Not using the loop of the maz. Since it's not really an active loop there is some signal loss with the loop. It sounds awesome infront of the amp. Even with a AC Boost infront of it.
I also got to hook up the X-Blender last night. That works great. It solves all the issuses of not having a loop or an active loop.

Does the EBS use the standard Boss PSA 120/Visual Sound One Spot/Zoom/Danelectro 9v power supply? Can it be daisy chained?
Thank you, Matt

Ok, so the only two pedals you'll ever need for any Dr. Z amp is: 1. Xotic AC Boost 2. EBS Reverb Everything else on the board is just fodder taking up space. I feel the same way. An AC Boost and a delay for me. Sometimes a compressor on cleans, but the rest of my pedals are gone. That reverb of yours does sound sweet though ;D

Yeah, it's really sweet. Nicest reverb I've ever heard. Plus it doesn't suck your tone. What's weird is when I use my boss Reverb, the more I crank the amp or kick in the dist pedal I increase the amount of reverb. With the Dynaverb, it seems to be persistant in reverb regardless of cranking the amp or kicking on the ac pedal.

I emailed EBS and asked about true bypass. They stated it's true active bypass, so you'll want to use power and not batteries.

My report on the X-Blender. Uh... it's ok.
When you turn on the blend it's supposed to boost the signal, but it adds a little flavor to the sound, which I didn't like. So, back to the store with the X-Blender.
