I'm actually saving for one of his 1-12 cabs, otherwise I'd probably put a bid in too. My friend Simon Patterson who is an awesome Australian guitarist has one and has used it with my Rt 66. I tried to steal it but he caught me! ;D

Tas....
what can you tell us about it's tonal properties? Is it strictly a clean boost or does it add some grit?

In the guitar player review they gave it a 10 out of 10. www.guitarplayer.com/story.asp?storyCode=4429I think it would depend on the power of the amp as to how much crunch you can get but it will definitely drive the front end of the 66 harder for a big warm crunch that sounds like you've just turned up the amp. Or keep it cleaner longer if that is what you need. Or just add Oomph. It's very neutral, although Dave often personalizes these for different players who want something "extra". My friend Simon has his modded to "add a Blackface" to whatever amp he's playing. I doubt this one is modded as, like I said, I've never heard of anyone selling an Ulbrick pedal. I'd love to replace my Fatboost with this pedal, even though I like the fatboost. Boost pedals are so rig dependent on how they respond. I have more headroom with the fatboost then I need with the 66 yet my friend can't get enough volume boost out of it with his "Hotcat" probably because it just goes into compression much quicker. I think Robben Ford has one but I might be wrong. Ah heck, almost anything sounds good into the 66 ;D

Shipping probably would have cost you and extra 10-15 US. I'm spewin'. That is SO cheap for that pedal. I could have sold my Fulltone Fatboost and made money... Makes me all the more determined to get one now. (NEW)
