She wouldn't help me and I gave up. Several calls no answer. Left message one time, no return. Got her twice and didn't volunteer any help.

Let Capitalism reign. No one's gonna get my OD money if they can't pony up product or service.
"Boutique" is no excuse. You're either in business or you're not. That means you either care about your customers and getting product shipped, or you don't.
There are too many (edit: good) options out there for us now for one maker to posture people and make them feel like they are privileged for getting one.
A Dumble is one thing. These are not Dumbles. Nor is anything else.
But I'll buy 3 Fuchs OD amps before I buy a Dumble.
Sorry for the nonsensical rant. I'm not ever sure what my point is, hehe.

"There are too many god options out there for us now for one maker to posture people and make them feel like they are privileged for getting one." Hohn
Out of context this is a funny statement. I want more GOD options, not enough religions in the world.
I would feel privileged if I got my own GOD. Just kidding you know, typeo's can be fun.

I guess I was a little bitter because I really wanted a pedal. I still like my new King of Tone. That thing really does sound like my amp cranked louder, well 95% which is super high for a pedal.

Billy, you might try sending him a PM from the gearpage. He's on that quite a bit. His user name is PaulC. I read an older thread last night where he said sometimes he has to prepare for gear shows like NAMM every now and then and will work until 10:00 at night every night for weeks. He's too tired to do anything when he gets home.

Just curious what is the current wait.i feel like im never gonna get my Zendrive. She told me 6-8 weeks. And, incidentally, I'm selling MY Zen for what I paid (about $299.00) on eBay. Finally lost patience with it.

I called during the day from work in full on Customer Service mode and the lady who answered was very sweet and seemed happy to answer my questions. Even thanked me for my order. Maybe it was some secret recognition between one member of the Customer Service tribe and another...

Finally lost patience with it. That's AMAZING. I had two Zens that I bought for $150.00 each new about a year ago and sent them back. Man, what a mistake. I guess sometimes pedals can be better than the stock market!

Well, an email from Oslo from a guy who had read my ho hum review of the ZD made me pull it back... I'll continue to tweak. It's not bad at all, just... frustrating... Incidentally, I played a set last night with a Gainster running into a Pharaoh Sweet Cheetah II... a friend loaned me his old LP Special with P90s and his Klon, so I used those too. It probably says something about me when I say I wasn't really knocked over by the Klon. The LP, now THAT was very cool. I haven't played P90s since the early '80s. And the Sweet Cheetah... majorly UNDERrated. Matt Farrow makes some very interesting little boxes. The Cheetah sounds like the most brutal Plexi I've ever heard.
