At stores like Home Depo they sell thin inexpensive plastic zip ties (the plastic ties the ATF and others use for cheap handcuffs…) for about $2 per 40 and matching small one inch square self adhesive attaching platforms for about $2 per 8. You attach the platforms to the underside of the pedalboard and then use the zip ties to attach the cables to the platforms. The platforms are thin small squares of plastic that you can run the zip ties through for the purpose of holding something in place. I stuck four of the platforms on the bottom of my Pedalboard Jr and that was more than enough to give me the flexability I needed.
I jumped this tip from the office electrician that was setting up my office electronics and cables this week at work. I went to Home Depo last night and purchased everything I needed for $4. Within 30 minutes I pulled all the tape, bread bag ties, etc off my board and cleaned things up. Worked beautifully. If I want to change a cord or pedal I just cut the ties and then apply a new tie to hold the new cord. Simple.
