I use the Headbone with my Maz Sr and 18 watt Marshall clone. It works great. Switching is instant and noiseless and I don't notice any difference in tone when I'm not going through the Headbone.
One thing to note though; If you're using the Headbone you can't use any delay through your effects loop. I didn't know about that until I bought one and read the manual. The way to get around it is to run a reactive load attenuator (such as a Weber Mini-Mass) from each amp head.

Love mine....................I don't use it much to switch heads within the context of a song, but, rather when I switch guitars. I like to play Les Pauls and Strats so its nice to be able to bring my z 28 for tunes requireing hums /Les Pauls and the Maz to switch over to when the tune calls for a strat sound. To my ears it does exactly as it claims and is noisless with no tone loss. Very fun to play with and especially nice to only have to haul 1 speaker!

I'm thinking of purchasing the "RADIAL HEADBONE". Anyone already own one & what do you think about it? THANKS I have a Headbone here. I'm lukewarm on it. It works, but there are way too many gotchas. First, this one is finicky about what's plugged where - I was A/Bing a couple of Flexi-50's, so they are identical as far as I can tell. But the Headbone broke into parasitic oscillations if I switched them around, so I had to put numbers on the front of the amps to maintain control. Also, if you're using loop effects, you do NOT want to use delays or reverbs when you switch heads - the head you switched away from could still be amplifying echos and fry the Headbone. Well that's a bit hard to be thinking about while you're playing. I used it live once and put it on the shelf...
