Here's one that hasn't been brought up, at the current price of 329.00 I can see why.
Can anyone justify paying that much for a pedal? Ok, I paid a little less than that for my Klon, but if you factor in build quality/tone/resale value it's a win/win/win.

I have been meaning to give the Eternity a try for a while but I'm a bit leery of spending big bucks on pedals that I've never heard in person. The only reason I took a chance on the Klon was because the builder is a local guy & it would have been easy for me to return the unit had i not liked it. I may still give the Eternity a try but I'm hoping that I can find someone relatively local who has one I can audition before I commit to spending over $300 on it unheard.

I pay'd $ 225.00 brand new!! had to wait a bit for it but it was worth it!! Ive seen Zendrives go for close to $400.00 on e-bay so why shouldnt the Eternity get the same hype market? Too much inflating of prices simply because its availible NOW, IMHO. Seans a great guy, and i think if ya talk to him a bit and dig where he's comin from, he'll take care of ya, ......people skills man, !! In my 65 Vibrolux that pedal is a religious experience! After hearing it in that amp, i have to admit i'd pay $329.00!!
Anytime i pay that money, for any pedal, i always assume at least a 50/50 chance im gonna turn around and sell it for a little loss. I consider it the cost of doin business, the business of not havin to spend my life drivin around to music shops all day, tryin pedals at too low a volume to REALLY tell, or relying on subjective reviews. This philosophy has allowed me to go thru an enormous amount of pedals, amps etc. And in less than a year have come the closest ever to finding "that" sound in my head. Its also givin me a respectable E-bay rating, ! LOL

I've tried close to 100 overdrives, some twice (I didn't think the Zinky could sound THAT bad)... and I regretted selling the Banzais, Direct Drives, and Jauernig overdrives so much that I've either had or currently have several. But if you don'y like them, up thry go on eBay and they may be just what someone else loves.

That Zinky is not a good thing. I don't know what that's about.
