Hey guys, I just got the H2O after a long look for a great affordable delay pedal..
I have the Dan-Echo and it worked great. I really liked it, but since I got my awsome Maz. jr, I could tell that there was some big time tone variations when it was on to when it was off. With it off the clarity and britghness kinda was muffled. Pry due to my signal chain (dan-echo is not true bypass). Most of my other pedals are.
Anyway after trying the Digitech Digidelay, Boss DD-6, H2O, Memory Man, and a friends Line6 DL-4.
I chose the H2O.
I couldn't stand the sound of the Boss and to many freakin options, lol, I just want basic delay, slapback and some longer times, and True Bypass. The Boss and Digitech got eliminated on the true bypass must have and the fact I didn't like either of them.
The Line6 or the Memroy Man would have been my next choices but $250.00 for a delay that I don't use all the time I couldn't justify right now.
All the pedals serve their purpose were good I geuss, except the digitech and boss which were pretty bad, but mostly unwanted functions I didin't need.
I like the H20 alot so far have only gotten to play with it a couple hours.
Just thought I would share my new toy with you all.. Thanks.
Who else here has or has used the H2O??
Another selling point was the chorus side of the pedal which is nice. I only use subtle chorus anyway so it works great.

I had the H2O for a while, and I loved it while I had it. I bought a T-Rex Replica and didn't use chorus much, so I felt I needed to sell the H2O. Kinda wish I still had it around though, it had a really warm and pleasant sound that is great for subtle ambient echo that is hard to get out of the ultra crisp and clear T-Rex. So, as they say, hindsight is 20/20. For the reasons I miss the H20 (warm, subtle, on-the-fly echo) I hope to get another "anolog" sounding delay someday, but its hard for me to justify having two delays on the board when one of them cost me over $400 (d'oh!). Oh well, that's the life a tone-crazy guitar player, regret over lost goodies. -Greg

I have heard great things about the T-Rex, but can't afford the super highend stuff as of now, even though it is an investment. At least that's what I tell myself. I need another Tele before anything and then another Dr. Z. Thanks for the reply.
I agree very sublte and warm echo on the H20, thats the features I really liked about it, I am not a big fan of effects that are really in your face.

Some folks don't like the T.C. Electronic stuff but their tap tempo delay sounds great on the clips they have.

Some folks don't like the T.C. Electronic stuff but their tap tempo delay sounds great on the clips they have. I could be wrong, but I think the new TC electronic Tap Temp Delay is the same pedal as the T-Rex, exact same layout, circuitry and features, not to mention they both cost $399 the last time I checked.

Tap-tempo would be nice feature to have on the H2O but I can deal without it..
Do you guys use tap tempo alot on your delays? I have never really messed with delays that have had it, I know I didn't like how it works on the Boss DD-6.
