For my guitar, I have a Nady "Wireless One" purchased about 1994. I haven't used it in years because most of the stages I play are small. But it does work the way it should. And I'll be playing on some larger stages this summer.
My question is, has technology advanced enough for me to consider a new one? Is mine outdated for any reason? Are the new ones good enough for me to tell a difference?
I could care less about being able to walk 300 feet away from the receiver unit. I just want good quality sound with a range of about 30 feet.
Anyone know about wireless units?

the problem i have had usually is interference from all types of sources at shows. lights, radio, phones, tv, etc. but, if it works great at home try it. you might get lucky. the only consistant wirelesses i have used are the tunable ones like sennheiser. with these if you do have interference, you can select another channel. they aren't cheap, but i have never had problems.
