I was just playing the ZW and thinking about my discovery on the Maz Jr that the power amp reacted a certain way when the cut knob was cranked, so I tried it with this amp. Meanwhile, I had been playing with the tone knobs at both extremes. I ended up with the Cut dimed and the Bass and Treble turned all the way to the left, volume on about 2:30 o'clock or thereabouts. This should sound lame as heck, but dang, it sounds pretty sweet. I'm starting to think this amp has a very wide and deep sweet spot. You can also get some real nasty grind in the top end if you dime the treble and then bring the cut up from zero to taste - that top end could saw down small forests. I think the Bass control could be renamed FAAAT because that's what it does to your tone - makes it fatter than a triple wide motor home on a two lane highway. This amp is fun!
