What an incredible overdrive pedal. Fantastic.
I knew my Boss Super Overdrive wasn't that good, but wow, compared to the Fulltone, the Boss is a piece of junk. It wouldn't be that bad, but the tone control on the Boss is horrible. And also on just about any tone setting, it removes LOTS of bass.
The Fulltone is a keeper.

Really nice pedal that fulldrive 2. I just picked one up too. I know what you mean about the boss, I had a Boss turbo OD years ago and it was horrible.
The FM setting is great. The CC setting works great with the cranked up Z. Its like having three different flavors of overdrive in one.
I got the custom in red, the mosfet doesn't do anything obvious (extra 50$, but there was a two month backorder on the regular one), but it sure does look nice.

They're good pedals but be careful when you engage the "comp cut' feature. Volume increases enormously, and can be dangerous to your hearing/equipment!

I've had mine for a few years. It's the newer version with the toggle switch. I own or have owned so many overdrive pedals that I can't even remember all of them, and the FDII is the still the one that I always use and depend on. I'm one of the odd creatures who was not that crazy about the Zendrive and sold it (but I love my Mosferatu!). I just think that the FDII is an incredibly versatile overdrive, and I can't understand the reviews by people on HC who have trashed it

I really like the Comp cut feature. I find I can get the Route 66 to sound "ampy" at low volumes, and still retain the dynamics and touch sensitivity which you tend to loose with overdrives.
