The DLS rotoSIM and the H&K Rotosphere seem to be the ones to beat these days.

Check out the Voce Spin II. My Foxrox TZF also does a great Leslie if you want the greatest flanger ever as well

Rotosphere II is a great Leslie sim, but it wants to be in the loop - way too noisy in front of the amp.

I tried a Micro Vibe but to me it's a better phaser than a leslie...probably not what youre looking for. Has anyone tried that new Boss leslie sim?

The DLS looks like a great design but the samples on their site are uninspiring. I'll have to hear one. Thanx for the ToneQuest idea. The H&K was noisy and swishy. The Spin sounded more like a tremolo. Didn't know about TZF, I'll check it out. Also the new Boss. I'll look into vibes as a last resort. Thanks everybody. Any others?

I bought a Leslie 120 cabinet for $300 several years ago... (less than some of the sim pedals)... it's only got 1 12" speaker, no amp, about 75 pounds, footswitch for the speed control and it's already modded to have an 8 ohm input from an amp... great for guitar rigs..

Check out the Option 5 Destination Rotation. I tried out the DLS Rotosim..............and i thought it was more of a chorus sound. There ARE however, internal trim pots for you to tweak which i didnt try. However, it is my opinion that the pedal should sound great as-is and should not have to be tweaked with the trim pots. The HK Rotosphere 2 is the most authentic i've heard so far. The only one that comes close to MY ears is the Option 5 Destination Rotation. I havent heard the new Boss pedal, i wish they'd put up some mp3's on their site. Anyway, check out the Option 5 Destination Rotation....it's under $300 too. Musictoyz.com has them.

Uninspiring is an understatement. I know what you mean. Aren't samples supposed to help increase sales?
