I got my George L's cables in a couple of days ago. I just finished re wiring my pedal board with them, and I must say I'm extremely impressed.
I've been using the same 6" prepackaged noname cables for going on 10 years. I don't know if I've ever heard my Strats sound so good.
To my ears any way (as compared to my old setup) I've got improvement through the entire bandwidth. Not just the top end like I previously thought I would.
I need to spend some time with my RI SG to get what I want out of it with the increased clarity.
I admit I've been skeptical that I could get that much of a change out of a few inches of cable which is why I kept putting off the purchase. But I just recently built a smaller pedal board and wanted to clean it up a bit, so I made the plunge.
I should of bought them a long time ago.

+1 for you. I love the way my George L's make my gear sound. I have been a believer for years. Enjoy. 6Strang

+1 or George Ls. Low Capacitance = Better Tone!

I have been using the George L's for a few years as well...my old ears could not tell much difference in tone??...must of been all those years of playing loud through the Marshall 100 Watt 4x12 and racing motorcycles? I like the way you can cut them to any length.

Cut them to length, shorten them a bit to tidy things up and a 20' cord takes up less than 1/2 the volume in your bag as any other wire.

I have to say that over the years I've never noticed much of a difference in tone with no name patchcords, cables, whatever I've used. That said, I DO use Monsters for speaker and live or studio hookup from guitar to amps, and I DO have Georges on my pedal boards. They definitely clean up the look of a cluttered pedalboard.
I also use a Pedalsnake from Stage Magic. I feel a lot better when I'm playing a gig in front of a room full of doctors or lawyers and I don't have a snarl of cable underfoot anymore. Also speeds up big stage teardown when the next act has to be up and running half an hour after your last note...

I'm sorry that you've been subjected to such cruelty.....playing for a room full of lawyers. No musician deserves that kind of abuse! ;D
