All; I'm new to Z-Talk but have been around for over 35 years playing lots of nice guitars and amps. Just bought a Monza 12" with the G12H.
I'm very impressed with the Monza gain structure. Anyone put a EVM in their 12" Monza? If so, does it simulate the sounds out of a Dumble ODS? The good Doctor could be on to something here.........

I think the EVM/L 's would sound Great with a Line 6 ;D I love them I own several Originals they really deliver and can handle lots of power:))) The monza is a KICK A$$ amp! I love the GH30 too! Very good speaker gets better withj age just like Whiskey. Jamie

It like the EV speakers. When I first got it, I felt a little Dumble vibe with lower gain settings. But everyone, especially on The Gear Page said....Oh no.....nothing like a Dumble. They have a "thing" against or about anything Dumble. This clip was with the Red Fang 10, but It remonded a little of the Dumble sound. Also, no two Dumbles were created the same. Some rocked more and were dirtier, and other cleaner. He made them to order.

Ran the Monza through a Mesa-branded 12" EVM last night. It sounded really good. That speaker exhibits little or no breakup and is on the bright side. I don't think I was in Dumble territory, though. I'd probably have to push the amp more, which means putting a Brake Lite on it as it was quite loud with Vol at 9 o'clock and Drive and Tone around noon.
