I've got myself a Memory Lane on the way. I'm wondering about the expression pedal and which volume pedal would work with this. Analogman sells several varieties of the ernie ball volume pedal. And where do you find a 1/4" stereo plug that becomes 2 mono 1/4' jacks? And what would a "stereo" output jack on the volume pedal be used for in this context. The Memory lane could already give me a seperate out for the delay, pseudo-stereo sort of effect. How important is the delay amp towards my sound. Would I want to have another Z amp, or would anything else work. On the samples they are using some other amp than that of the dry signal. I will probably have to haul my rig down to try out some other amps for the delay out just to hear what possibilities exist. Then I guess that I could decided what my priorities are. I don't think I need another Z, but man wouldn't it sound great to have my Mazerati and a Ghia for the delay? Then I could switch them around, Oh God I have GAS!

I'm assuming your Mazerati doesn't have a direct out or an effects loop? If not, I'd just try the delay with any other decent amp you have around. First I'd see how it sounds right into the front of the Mazerati. If you're not pushing the amp into distortion then it should sound great. The delay should always be lower in level than your main guitar sound anyway. You could get a direct box. Some of them give you a 1/4" line out that you could use to run to the delay and from the delay into another amp. You'd want one that would pad the direct out down enough to not distort the delay pedal. This would give the Mazerati tone to the delay making the original sound and the delay sound more similar.
