Has anyone played through both of these overdrives? I have the Wonderboy, I like it, but the KOT has internal trim pots to allow for more gain choices. The Wonderboy has no tone control and has little to no gain from 12:00 down. Maybe because my Mazerati is already so clean. I am waiting on the AM clone Chorus and a Sun Face, and was curious about the KOT through an American Strat w/Lace PU's through my Mazerati. I'm thinking the KOT will sound more open and give me more gain if I choose to go that far. Thanks for any input.

He's not even taking orders for them for who knows how long. I'll just use the Wonderboy for the time being. I would still like to know which one of the two pedals is more open. Maybe I will just have to get on the list someday and find out for myself.

I emailed Analogman about the KOT construction progress. He said I was "getting close". He said he was up to May of '04 and he says I got on the list in July of '04. I guess that's some progress. I think writing his pedal book ate up a lot of time. Even though I don't think I'll use it much I'm excited about someday getting one. It seems to be very transparent and amp-like.

I'm very curious about the Xotic BB pedal. It seems to be capable of natural sounding overdrive. Nobody around Kansas City carries them so I haven't got to hear one yet.

Just reread my email from Mike at Analogman. He said he finally has a new KOT assembler so production will increase! Yahoo!!!!!!!!!! That does sound like progress.
