oh yea! I've got a jr. with a blue and a G-12H and so far i don't think i've met a drummer that could drown me out and i run mine clean and use boxes for dirt.
by the way. 2 blues would be cool, but i love the blue and g-12h format. it really rounds out the tone with really nice blooming lows and nice crisp chime. It's definitely worth checking out if you get a chance.

I think this amp (and its big brother) really shine with a 2x12" cab with two differently voiced speakers. I haven't tried a Blue or a Gold (mostly because I can't afford to buy one and am afraid I'd want to : but I use a V30 and a G12H in an open cab and the sound is right in the wheelhouse for the style of country I play. ...but I still want a Z-Wreck ;D

+ 1 for the Blue / G12H in a 212 together. Best tone I've had so far.

RXJr and a pair of Blues would sound damn-fine for country. Those efficient 100db speaks would give you some nice tones. And the RXJr, like the MAZ Jr, is a lot louder than most people think. I don't think you'll have any problem doing country w/ that rig.

The prescription extra strength was originally developed for Mr. Brad Paisley. And since the jr. is the same amp just lower wattage it kicks for country. I run it in a two twelve avatar cab with two h30's and its creamy and dark but when you punch your guitar brings out the brightness of the amp. I run my amp with the bass at 8, mid a touch below two and the treble just a touch lower than that. It's awesome for country. It's not as clean as a fender hot rod deluxe if you're looking for that, but it's the best tone I've ever heard.
