How many speaker output jacks does the Ghia come with?
Three? A 4-8-16 ohm series like my Route 66? How about two, a 4-8 ohm like my Maz Jr?
I can't find a pic of the back of a Ghia.

I think mine (2006 model i believe) has only 2 speaker outputs; 4 & 8 ohms.

I think all the newer CG's have the - 4 and 8 Ohms. Older ones only have one speaker out -maybe an 8 Ohm.

Thanks for the responses....+1 to everyone.
Dang....the system only allows one plus karma per hour. I hope I don't forget to come back.

I have a '98 Ghia. It has one 8 ohm tap. Not sure when they started providing 2 taps.

I asked the Docs sales guy if you can get a 16 ohm output on a CG, he said no, they come with both 4 and 8 ohm.

Mine's an older one with one 8 ohm output. and a green jewel for extra 'oomph'.

I was thinking about swapping the green jewel w/ a red one, but I don't think the red ones have as much "ooompf"

The older one output Ghias can be used with 4/8/16 ohm as the tranny is overbuilt...as most Z amps are Al least that's what I've read around here.

The newer Carmen Ghias come with taps off the tranny for 4 and 8 ohms. Mine are both 2005 models (Pxxxx) with green jewels. By the way, Mike Zaite told me that's how the serial numbers work: Q 2006, P 2005, O 2004, N 2003, etc. That's how you can date the year of manufacture in most cases.

Mine's circa 1990, one speaker out (ohms unspecified) and a "preamp in" jack that doesnt seem to work...
I was told the speaker out can be used with a variety of ohm ratings.....I run 4 and 8 ohm cabs frequently with no problems, and have run a 16 ohm without issues on a few occasions.
