I don't know how many of you have tried the Delta 88 with the Air Brake, but if anyone has, can you please tell me how much of a volume reduction you get.
For example, this 88 watts must peak at 11 or 12 o'clock on the volume nob, so even at 9 o clock, the amp is still extremely loud. How much attenuation will the air brake give me without killing my tone?
Reason I ask is because the closest Z dealer is about 3 hours away and I'd like to have an idea if the trip will be worth it...
Any feedback would be much appreciated, THANK YOU

Michael Burks runs a dual Delta 88 setup with both heads running out of their own Air Brake. They really tame them down quite a bit they way I hear it.
I have only been around once when he turned the Air Brake to it's lowest attenuation, and my memory tells me with the air brake the sound was just as big just less volume.
Hope that helps you some, Trav
