Hey all, I was just thinking about why I like my Monza so much . . . Its Red Its Loud Its light I don't need any pedals to make it scream It looks great in my living room (its really the first thing you see when you walk in my house lol) My family can hear down the street with the brake light set on 4! okay, thats it for now . . . why do you love your Monza?? I'm lovin' my green one now with a Weber Blue Pup 10" Alnico in it! Better highs and note articulation, and can actually put the Brake Lite on "2" and can tolerate the loudness with volume and gain on lower settings. It's got a nice growl thing going!

Hey Todd, I'll let you know this evening how much I like my Monza, since it's being delivered today. BTW, which cable do I need to run my Avatar/Blue 8ohm, with my Monza combo together? Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. you can use either a Power Y I or Power Y II shown on this page: procablesnsound.com/items/Power-Y-Cables/list.htmwith both speakers at 8ohm you would use a Parallel Y cable in the 4ohm tap out the back of the amp Todd

Thanks Todd, I'll consider these cables. Well I'll answer on why I like my Monza! It's a Blonde, It's LOUD, and it's light. Just got it an hour ago, and man what a rockin little boogie machine. I don't think I'll have any problem cutting any of my gigs with this little monster. There is plenty of "clean" for me at my volume needs, as I mic to FOH anyway, and I can ride the guit. vol. for that niece "suyrpy" lead tone most crave. This little amp travels well and load in and outs will be a breeze. I'll probably run my Line6 M9 into the frontend for some nice delays, trems, and reverbs to "enhance" the already spectacular sound comming out of this little gem. Cya around MONZA MUTS, more to come for sure.

Will these cables work with the Brake Lite. How would that affect the ext. cab spkr? I assume only the 1X10 in the Monza would be affected. Thanks

I love my Monza because it fools people into thinking I know how to play guitar. Plus, it's RED.

I guess I would need a rt angle one, if I have to plug into the bottom of the BL(no room for a sraight). I'm not totally familiar with the wiring on these BL to Spkr to Amp yet, havent looked in detail.

I love mine cause it oozes sultry sounds that get naughtier the more the volume goes up until Yikes...that's just too naughty to run that hot!
But I do...hehe.

honeslty, another thing I like about it is the simple controls, it doesn't hours to dial in a tone, I can just roll up the volume and enjoy myself without a lot of putzing Todd

I love my Monza because she's a dirty, dirty girl with a spooky little mind of her own. Some serious mojo living in there--maybe even some kind of sexy little demon.
Okay, I'm having a slightly inappropriate relationship with my amp. I'm usually not this weird.
Wait...yes I am.

I got the opportunity to play one through my Ghia's speaker and switch back and forth between the two. Its a nice amp. If I add a second amp it very well may be the Monza (RED of course).

I bought mine with the intention of doing just that on a permanent basis - Ghia 1x10, Monza head A/B through the Red Fang. Then I did this trick with my Maz18 1x12 combo and WOW! The Monza sound just exploded - talk about guts!! This baby punched well above its weight through a well broken in G12h30. Now I use the Ghia as my beloved grab n go gig amp, but for the big boy stuff - Maz and Monza - OH YEAH!! Pete ;D

The Zbest is a great, great cab, but you need a strong back (or a strong roadie) to lug that bad boy.

on Friday at Zfest I got to use a Monza 1x10 (like the one I have at home) in a very nice wet VFW hall room. Wow, I think it sounded really great, it was nice and fat and had great sustain. It inspired me to get my "little Red Monster" out of the house on Tuesday and let it rip at band practice Tuesday night. My band practices at my church on the nights that nobody is using the building. Its a nice 300 seat high sealing room. With my controls all set at noon and my brake lite set at 2 the sound was incredible and not only blew my drummer away filled the wonderully. My wife reported that she could hear us all the way in the back of the parking lot! Yesterday in the car she asked me why we play so loud (she was actually concerned for the church PA system). She said, is it because you can? my amp sounds so good, I don't want to turn it down still love my Monza!! Todd

Anybody else run the volume at a bit less than 3pm, the drive at 11am and tone to taste? Reminds me of an 800 only the voicing's not quite Marshall. It rips though like this through a 412 loaded with Greenbacks. I would say the bigger the cab the better on a setting like this. Check it out if you dare...LOL
Yeah the family left for a week on vacation and I got to open it up at will by the way.
