Okay, had some time to play with my new little Monza Monster, and have discovered something GLORIOUS!! Used a Headbone to share my well broken in G12H30 in my Maz combo with my Monza head - WOW! Now that is a glorious thing to hear I'm reworking the Maz to get more clean headroom, and with hair, and then using the Monza for heavy/solo stuff. Oh yes! Now I got me my Daddy Rig right here; and with the 1x10 Ghia and a couple of pedals, my Grab and Go Rig right there! So, I found the Monza to fizz and whoosh a bit when I put it through the Red Fang, especially if you crank it up quite a bit. Once I put it through the G12H30 - no problems at all. And boy, what a tone! Much more bottom end, as you'd expect, but much clearer articulation, and a brighter sound strangely enough. The G12 just seems to handle the "balls" of this little beast much more confidently. Maybe I should rephrase that, but you see what I mean? Keep on rockin'!! Pete ;D

I'm looking forward to running my Monza combo with my Avatar/CBlue and the Red Fang, that should sound pretty phat! Gotta get one of those Todd Par cables I guess.

Ah Pete, that's as they say "music to my ears" to hear that about the G12H30... I have 2 open back 1x12's w/those and they're in my 4x12's also. So when the head gets added to my stable, I'll be on it from the get go. Sa WEET! Also wanted to add something - about running the Fulltone pedals on 18v. I bought about 4 18v Dunlop wall warts to use for these pedals. That was a little easier than finding enough of the correct voltage from my Voodoo Lab Pedal Power II units. Left me more outs for other pedals too. They all fit nicely into one of these sealable surge protector units that then sits neatly on the floor out of sight where it can't get trampled... tbird

tbird, that 18V thing sounds interesting - never came across it before. I use Dunlop 9V power block on my pedal board, so will have to check out the 18V thing. Do you know if it works with Xotic pedals? I'm pretty much getting the sounds I want, but a bit more saturation wouldn't go amiss Cheers Pete ;D

I'm pretty sure all of the Xotic pedals are 9v only. It would be nice though, an 18v ac/bb/rc... Actually, I take that back, I was just watching the PGS video - the E.P. Booster can do 18v !! t

Unfortunately, my computer skills are few, I don't really know how to do that. But, if you connect to the ProGuitarShop website, it's one of their video demos...

Cool Mike, thanks! I'll give it a go with my 18V PSU from the EHX .22 Calibre amp - should be fun
