Oh yea - you made the right choice. That gets way more of a Strat tone than my CV. And it is a beauty. Nice clean and sharp playing. You have some real speedy and tasteful stuff going on there. the whole setup sounds great.

Mark... great sounding guitar... I love that clean tele tone. Also, very nice hybrid picking. Best of luck with the new Axe.
Now does your wife know it's hiding under the bed? ;D

No, just kidding, the wife gave me full permission to get it. glad she did. Played it last night in practice and I really am having a blast with it!

Lovely playing Mark, some nice licks in there, do all you guys grow up playing this style, it's most fascinating, I grew up listening to rock but I like this better!

twangsta, thanks for the comments! Funny thing is I listen to alot of rock more so than country...I love Brad Paisley stuff...but I always listen to my main man, Springsteen...and older rock and roll too. I think it is the tele that makes me play more of that style.

I'm not getting that tone on my strat, I use the [edit:] bridge pup a lot by it self. When I'm sucking I dial in a bit of the neck pup with the blender, gotta get a tele at some point, I just hope I dont see one of these for a while, instant GAS.
That guitar sounds great, all stock?

Awesome video Mark. I tried out one of the Squier Classic Vibe Thinline Tele's the other day and was blown away by it. I was considering getting a Gretsch Pro Jet as a backup guitar but now I'm thinking about something in the classic vibe series. Just can't decide between a Tele and the 50's Strat...haha what a dilemma. Once again, great demo of the tele. Some really nice playing.
