Dave Dudley, Six Days On The Road. We do that song every gig.
Congrats on the new Z-28. Mine has been a dream. I play it with my country band.

TexasJim, good job. So tell me how much different is Dave D's version from the FBBro's version. As I came by the song through the FBBro's.... I wish I could say that I/we do it every gig, but the trueth is our original stuff is so surf, funk, & kinda jazzish that it really stands out as being the song that doesn't fit, but I really wish it would. To the point that what I'm eally saying is I sometimes wish we wrote country music.
Bluzman, you have a sense of humor, no? Taj writen songs about being able to see. HAHAHAHA that's good stuff.
UPS guy is reunning late and my lunch is only another 15 mins. But the wife is home all day. She'l get it for me.

Mine will be here Friday and I have a gig the next night. Yes I'm ready for some more tone. I think I will use my Maz and my Z28 to play some good ol' Southern Rock. Let me know what you think of yours. I keep coming on the forum to help curb my excitement...it's not helping!

asattwanger; I don't guess I ever heard the FBBros version of that. I missed the whole FBB/Grateful Dead/Byrds/New Riders era. of music.
I'm so old I remember BEFORE Dave Dudley!
Our drummer's voice fits that song like a glove. He's got a voice that sounds like Josh Turner/Johhny Cash.

Actually I do have a sense of humour, but Taj covered that song on Giant Step in 1968. It is actually credited to Earl Green and Carl Montgomery written by them in the very early 60s. This link gives some insight: I think it's a great song! www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=33:0cfexb95ldjeYou may have to hand enter the part at the end after the :
