Would a single greenback work good with the Z28? This would be in an open back cab, BTW.

Cool. I have a Reverend Alltone in there now, thought I might like to try something a little different.

Well I must have missed that post first time around, maybe in my offline hiatus. That's a great rockin' tone Curt Still haven't tried my Bro-in-laws Z28 with my Ulbrick 1-12 cab. Mmmm. Should try to borrow it this weekend! Sudsy, diggin' Josie...great song, you guys do it great. Rig also sounds fantastic!

I ordered my 112 combo with a greenback and love it. Great overdrive breakup. If I keep the treble/bass below 12 it stays clean till about 1 on the volume. Turning the tone controls past 12 at that point really gets it cookin'. Volume 3 Bass 2 Treble 3 on my tele just sizzles ;D
A setup I like with this amp is get it just at the break up point, roll the volume back a little and put a clean boost in front of the amp. Instant 2 ch amp w/gain control. But I'm preaching to the choir.
