Hi, It's been 3 weeks that i got my z-28 and i'm still learning about it. I really loves the sound, with everything around 1 or 2, i got great tones.....what is really cool is that it is really sensitive to the guitar you play (not like a rectifier !). With my tele i'm really close to that "tres hombres" sound. But i have a hard time with my fuzz pedals, my 2 favorites used to be the Zvex octane3 and effector 13 silvercrank. In the z-28 i'm losing all the trebles........so much bass that I don't recognize my pedals. My cab is a 2X12 with 2 Tone Tubbies (1 ceramic, 1 alnico). What do you guys think and what is your experience with fuzz pedals in the Z-28 ?
Thanks
M

The only "fuzz" I've used with mine is an Original Style ProCo Rat. I like how it sounds thru the Z-28 2-10, but I have only used it on a handful of songs.

I have a "few" fuzz's but never really gone into that realm of tone with them on my Z-28. Nor am I familiar with your fuzz box's. From what I understand those aren't your "standard" fuzz face type of pedals. You might want to try a Tonebender MKII clone, they are a bit tighter in the bottom and treble.
