It was your clips that brought on the GAS attack.

Thanks, man!!!! The brown truck just stopped by, I just played it for a couple minutes just to check out the tone... I love it! I like it better than the Stang Ray, even. I'm thinking this is gonna be my favorite amp ever. You need to get those clips downloadable somehow!!!!

Nice...same tolex/grill cloth as my Rt 66. I like that setting too. ;D That's just about my favorite Z28 setting with the Z-Best.

You need to get those clips downloadable somehow!!!! Jerry Amalfitano has three of the songs on his myspace page and I think you can download them... www.myspace.com/pickupmakerYou can download them from Putfile but you have to use a different browser(such as Firefox).

That's tempting, Uncle Pat, but I'm using it with my 2X12 Stang Ray cab right now, and it sounds KILLER!!! It ain't the same color but it'll do.

I am enjoying it a lot, but it has changed my outlook on the Stang Ray I bought before this one.

Stang Ray is apparently not for everyone. It is one demanding amp.

We've got limited choice of Z's here in the UK, you fella's in the US hog 'em all. I'm back into the Humbucker thing for now, how do you rate the Z28 with these PU's? I was thinking about a Stangray (there's ONE here for sale) but it seems to be an aquired taste.

I think you will like the Z28 with humbuckers. It can really soar when you crank it. The Airbrake can help to bring down the volume if you need to. IF really clean is what you want then the Stangray will be more in line, but for rock and blues the 28 is great.... country guys seem to like it as well. For more headroom in the 28, put the treble and bass at noon. Running them higher will make the amp breakup sooner.

John, it's spotless! Are you sure it's not new? I suddenly realised that I didn't fully understand the standby switch but I soon got advice etc from tops guys on this site. Which amp are you using? Do you gig with a Z too?
