Will post pics, impressions for sure. Got to get my Lonestar Special sold, and we'll be good to go. Coincidentally, I sold my LSS to switch over to the Monza. No regrets! (I still have a Mesa Maverick, which is the 4xEL84 amp the LSS replaced.)

The LSS is a great amp, but since I got my Maz 18 combo a couple of years ago I just stopped playing it. As you know, the LSS has more knobs and switches than a Russian submarine, which does get you a ton of tonal variety (all of which is very LSS-y), but can also make it kind of tricky to dial in. I also believed (and this may be goofy) I could, in comparison, hear the PCB in the LSS: notes played on the LSS seemed to come from somewhere toward the back of the cabinet, on the Maz 18 they came right out the front. I do like the somewhat darker tone of the LSS for bedroom playing, but it's hard to beat the Maz combo for cutting through in a band setting, and the Maz 18 NR head/cab has plenty of bottom-end thump. That said, if I had any sense I'd have stopped buying amps after the LSS; not a thing in the world wrong with it, and it beats the hell out of most other PCB amps on the market, Bogner Duende excepted. But what can I say--I'm a Z addict. D*** you, Dr. Z!!!!

LSS definitely a good amp, but sterile sounding in comparison to a Z. Also, the 2x12 was so heavy that I was very unlikely to gig with it.

Sterile is exactly right. And yeah, even the 112 is hella heavy, although it only shades my Maz 18 combo by 6 or 7 pounds.

Who was it said, "if your amp has more than 6 knobs, you're one of them!" ? Crude, but it made me laugh out loud! Then I quickly counted the knobs on my Maz - phew, only 6 ;D

Sold a few pedals on eBay: getting there! As soon as my LSS comes back fro its check-up, up it goes. Somebody just sold one for $1400.

Turned out I had a few more extraneous/redundant pedals sitting around than I thought, so I was able to pay it off without selling the LSS--which is kind of crazy, in a way. Should ship tomorrow--could even get here by Friday! Woo hoo!

Congrats, no one likes to see a Z amp on layaway for too long!

Can't wait, though I was just playing a little capo'd Tele to the rhythm part on "Get Back" through my Maz18 NR (with a Zendrive) and thinking, how does it get any better than this?
Just realized it'll be one of those rare, collectible early 30-watt Monza's, too. Heh.
