Try putting in a new rectifier tube.

Hey I have a Z28. A few weeks ago I blew a couple fuses. Picked it up today from getting fixed & it happened again. Any body know anything about a problem of that sort w/ Z28's? Does it use a 2 amp or slo-blo fuse? That is a 2 Amp SLO-Blo or commonly 2 Amp MDL on the Z-28 , Madison may be right about the rectifier , but start with the correct fuse rating first. DR.Z

For some strange reason I blew a fuse in my 28 as well. It worked fine, then the next day no sound. I looked at the fuse and sure enough... blown. Get a new one like the Doc says, and swap a rectifier tube and I'll bet you will be fine.
